Fuck me Ive been doing this for years and have no chest gains. I had to stop working out my arms because 15.5" arms on a chestlet looks disgusting.
Ive only ever done the compound exercises and run but today for the first time I did dumbbell bench after barbell and my tits hurt. Im hoping this means Ill finally see some development in my chest so Im not so ashamed.

Pressing is not the same motion, unless you're horribly mangling at least one of the exercises.

Barbell bench uses multiple muscles, triceps are often burned out before your chest can get a chance. DB flies takes the tri's out of the equation and isolates the chest muscle.
