> tfw that rest day depression hits
keep it /fit/ related
>feeling bad when you're on a rest day
Uhm, most of us have a job, a life and a gf. We are always busy
>tfw haven't talked to a girl in months since my ex of 8 years left me
>Lift or run every day, makes me feel good but randomly I'll get crushing depression and miss her
>Can't even jerk off because I'll randomly think about her and get sad
>Cleaning phone out if all old pictures
>Find a picture of her smiling, jack off furiously, cum instantly, then delete picture
>Cry for an hour

Not really a feel that is /fit/ related, but I want to put this from my chest.
My computer is the most toxic thing in my life.
I do useless things on it (browsing fit for nothing) and waste hours on it. I feel angry on myself at the end of the day. I want to change my lifestyle, but I get this feeling that people judge me wrongly based on this. Like if everything I want to change is bad and they will tell me. Probably caused on anything I wanted to do in my youth made my parents mad, because things broke down.
I am going to write down my goals and changes of my lifestyle and hopefully reach them.
>>37212708
Don't ever keep yourself from progressing because someone else may not like it. If you feel that something is hindering you from your goals fucking SMASH it. I'm turning off my internet today for that exact reason.
>was making/achieving goals regularly
>visit /fit/ one night
>haven't done shit other than work and surf the net for ~week
>was happy before
>snapped my back up
>can't do my favourite deadlift
Life has lost all meaning.
>>37212775
Yeah, I should do that, Fuck the rest I want to become better.
Also I should turn off my computer more.
>>37212938
>>Yeah I should do that.
The best way is to set a concrete plan. A time when you will use your comp and a time to turn it off.
>>37212996
I am bad at making a routine for myself.
Is there some kind of help book that gives tips on keeping an agenda/routine ?
>>37209944
I do have a job and some friends, and I still feel like shit when I come home and don't have to prepare to go to the gym. I always end up playing video games or wasting my time on /fit/.
>>37213067
There are plenty of books. But since I don't recall any specific titles here's what has been most effective for me-
Write out a routine every single night for the next day.
Wake up way before you need to leave the house. Don't drag your ass out breath smelling like asshole and unshaven. Makes a significant difference in your day.
MIT- Most ImportantTask (of the day)
- wrote down one thing that is the most important thing you need done and DO IT FIRST.
Time everything. Cut out things that are unproductive and taking too much time. Check things off as you go. Get all your clothes/meals you need to take together the night before.
It sounds more difficult than it is. But I can't tell you how much it has helped me, and especially if you're prone to depression/anxiety/etc. it's a necessity to have a routine.
>that feel when needing to rest for a week to recover from a minor injury
B-but whats going to happen to my gains? :(
>moving season approaching
>suddenly everyone wants to talk to me
Go fuck yourselves. You let me rot in depression all year and suddenly you care about me because you want to use me

I'm >>37212775
Going to take a bit of time off the web after posting. Challenging you to turn yours off for a week and see how much you can accomplish. Sounds like you've got the desire and just need the push.
>>37213371
I hope you do. It's been the biggest factor in the changes I've made to my life so far.
>>37213413
After thinking about it, I always need someone to push me. Like lifting, I wanted it to do it, but never did. 1 day my friend gave me a 1 week free ticket for the local gym, which was my push to go.
>>37213470
Man don't feel bad. We all need a push sometimes. What is it you want to do? You want to be the biggest guy around? Or strongest? Or have the hottest gf? Start right here. The most simple and effective step you can take is GET OFF OF THE FUCKING INTERNET. Take back your life today. We'll walk off together if you want. >no homo
>Sleep, work, workout
>Browse /v/ and /fit/ during free time
>Im so tired of this cycle
:<
>school ends
>not taking summer classes
>put in my two weeks at my job because I'm miserable working around one coworker
>don't have another job lined up yet
>sleep has been terrible, lifts have been stalling
>there's a girl at Starbucks with the nicest booty in yoga pants standing right in front of me and I feel like a pervert because she's probably in hs and I can't look away
Help
>Go on a date
>Goes well, says she had a lot of fun
>Text her next day once
>That was two days ago, no replies
Welp.
>>37213728
Don't stress over it. Easier said than done. Get out of the house so time passes faster until she either texts you or you forget that you were waiting for her to.
>>37213572
yeah really. I tried adopting extra hobbies to keep myself occupied, which has helped. I'm studying another language and reading a lot... still I can't shake the feeling that it serves no purpose. I can really only look forward to my next workout.

10 minutes of hard fucking
As opposed to the normal bump n grind sex
All in all it was about 20 minutes that sex, followed by another 3 hours of off and on sex spaced by cuddling and deep conversation
>Chad chaddington says even if you're sick come to gym

>Meanwhile I'm now 195lb and 'ripped' by normal people standards
>Feel like I deserve better, a hot girl, someone who actually tries, someone who's body actually turns me on.
>Had to break my poor gf's heart because I can't accept not having the best
I feel like an asshole, but at the end of the day I know I'll end up resenting her more if I force myself to stay with her.
At least my lifts are at an all time high....

I'm 22 with a full time job while going to college
Seems like you're just projecting m8 sorry you can't have a meaningful conversation with the opposite sex

I know that feel bro.
I'm so happy if I get out for the weekend and go camping or something, I don't miss the internet at all, I could not touch it again for all I care.
But then Monday comes and I need to use my PC to do college work and the addiction comes rushing back. I hate it.
