Shit. Trying to progress but hurt my back last Friday so my OHP dropped from 155 1RM to 145 garbage tier. Deadlift didn't budge either from 430. To top it, My hopes of reaching 10% bodyfat from 12% on my recomp by June 1st are slowly dying by the day.

Took a day off last week because I hurt my back/groin.

Came back today and hit a new squat PR through a better stance and lots of energy, felt pretty explosive on OHP too. Deadlift form was improved and felt better on my back but my grip gave out when I got to my worksets. Probably wasn't as focused because the gym was active and someone was hovering over my shoulder for the set. Overall it was really nice.

Had a great workout. Saw my ex at my uni rec center. She is ballooning like the pig she is. I hit deadlifts hard due to rage.

Pretty good. Gym newfag here, trying to loose the muffin top. Stationary biked for over an hour, burnedd 500cal, plus short jog for 100 cal, which brought my calorie defecit to 900 for the day. Best result since I started working out.

It went pretty well. I'm taking summer classes so I'm trying to adjust to the new schedule. I've never been successful when I've tried to really get in shape, and this past semester I got C's, and my oneitisis gone. I got tired of feeling like I can't do anything. So I'm just going to get strong. I'm trying to keep that motivation going for tomorrow and onward. Also trying not to jack off.

It's probably because you're uneven. If you squat with one for even an inch in front of the other (which many people naturally do), you will get an imbalance.

Try using one leg on a leg press at half your squat weight + half your body weight. You should be able to do equal weight with both legs, but chances are you can't.

The gym opens in 2 hours. I'll go, but I'm already doubting my performance.
Lately nothing's been working.

Workouts last for 30-45 mins max, no PB's.
I don't leave physically exhausted, just mentally.
My diet's also been falling apart, I don't eat shit, I'm just hungry all the time these past few days.
I've been doing lots of cardio.
A bit too much and because of that my legs are hurting frequently. I need to take some time off running to let them rest.

My training partner hasn't been for months, so I haven't got the external kick in the ass I probably need.

First day deadlift didn't hurt my lower-back, maybe I didn't lift heavy enough.

This is what i did. keep in mind that I'm a skinny guy with no muscles whatsoever.

Incline dumbell bench press: 35 lb. 3 sets of 8 reps and one set of 4 reps.

Seated Leg press. 275lb. 30 sets of 20 reps. terrible form, didn't really go down low enough ehnce being able to do 275. will probably do way way less if good form.

Lat pull down: 88 lb. 4 sets of 12 reps.

Overhead press with barbell. 2 sets of 10 reps and 1 set of 8 reps.

weird seated calf press. 275 lb. 2 sets of 20 reps and one set of 25 reps

rear delt fly with machine. 88lb 3setsx10reps

v-bar lat pulldown. 103 lb 3setsx10reps

seated incline dumbell curl. 17lb. 4setsx10reps

straight bar pushdown for triceps. 46lb. 5 setsx10 reps

seated machine back rows. 77 lb. 3 sets x 12reps

machine chest press: 100 lb. 2 sets x 10 reps.

Keep in mind that i'm a total rookie. Any feedback or advice is much appreciated.

I'll be honest I've only been training for 10 months and I look like shit and/or fat, but I am part of the 1/2/3/4 club so I've made some progress throughout. If it's aesthetics or strength your after, you need a level of base strength to work with or be juicing or its a waste of time. Good to see you did ohp, but do the big 3 with maybe 1/2 isolations or machines to finish afterwords. And you'll be weak for a long time so just embrace it

Epic charms day. 5 x 5's with drop sets on a heavy week before my deload.

- 70kg db bench and heavy ass per fly superset

- 30kg tricep extension/climbing up to 40kg ez curl barbell superset

Finished with heavy farmers carries and hammer curls. Also did 3 x 2 mins heavy bag rounds interspersed at the start, middle, and end of my workout.

All this while getting back into gym after a broken leg from a camping accident.

Sounds like you need to eat more before your sessions anon. 1.2 g-1.4g of carbohydrate per kg of bodyweight should be enough assuming you're not a massive fatass. Mostly high GI sugars mixed with some oats or such is GOAT m8.
