So I started a new diet on February 1st. I lost weight for a month, but fell of the bandwagon for about two months and didn't gain or lose any weight. Now I'm back on track and losing weight again. I should be a healthy weight by December.

Running isn't really comfortable at this size. It started to get uncomfortable at around 90 kg. I look forward to being able to run comfortably again in about 4 months. I've been obese for like 6 years.

I've gone on 7 dates this year, and none of them have amounted to anything. I'm wondering how my dating chances will improve once I am a healthy size. I have been dating other people my size, but it still seems to make a difference.

Depending on how aggressive i'm being, at least -500 up to -1000 calories/day below maintenance TDEE. I always opt out of cardio, hence having to go further below -500.

First thing I did was waste 3 months cutting just because I was desperate to see abs. Didn't realize I would end up looking like an emaciated runner, hugely dissapointing. So from then on I lean bulked for at least 6 months before taking a 1-2 month cut, then repeat.

Vintage balcony shit when from that regretful cut (down to 125 in this pic, my lowest ever. Bad move when I should have been focused on building a solid foundation of muscle.

The fact that there is an entire world of food to eat. You can still enjoy any variety of food and make the exact same gains so long as your calories and macro's are on point. If you are someone who doesn't et enjoyment from food and only see it as an inconvenient necessity in life, brodiet is just fine. That's not me though. I don't know if it was getting fit or just growing up that changed my life, but I've pretty much turned my life around in the past two years.

Earlier I was a lazy fatty fighting with depression and anxiety. I was in an abusive marriage with a woman I didn't love. Too whipped and scared to do anything on my own. Trying (and failing) to make sense of my shitty childhood and get over it. Basically a depressed child at the age of 25.

At some point I decided to start changing things. Got my ass to the gym, got my diet in order, made big changes in my habits.
Went from 253lbs to 190 in just under a year, got out of the shitty marriage, started to act like an adult.

Now I have a really sweet and beautiful gf, I'm in a better shape than ever before and I'm actually managing my life myself. I'm still poor and uneducated but I'm working on those things next, looking to start my own business in the near-future.

It all started when I started frequenting this mongolian basket-weaving forum, so thanks guys.

I've been where you are right now. Sort of at least. When you are fit, even as much as normal with a bit muscle going, you stop giving a fuck. There are always shitty dates, you just brush them off and go back to your regular mirings, flirt with them a bit, and get back on track.

Confidence boost is extremely important for you, more than being healthy and having feeling of power once you drop that shitty weight. You feel like you can do a standing backflip (don't, it's much harder than that), or pretty much anything, and that eases up talking to people or caring what they think about you. Because you know you are magnificent fucker that can do whatever and fuck this broad, she has fat ankles and there is always another one.

-1,000 calories per day equates to 2lb's of fat loss per week. This doesn't factor in any additional calorie deficit from cardio. Rule of thumb (not taking into consideration possible muscle atrophy when cutting): Each -3,500 calories through diet and/or cardio = 1 lb of fat loss. Keep it up man, great progress.
