Do you prefer your skin naturally white or tanned?.

I think all white people look better fairly pale. Not unhealthily pasty but pretty white.
I've spent so much time around fucking leather people with gross bleached hair that I find tan skin disgusting now, unless that's your race's actual color.

I live in a mediterranean country, but i'm 1/2 northern yuro, so i'm pretty pale compared to most of the people i meet.
Tanning in the summer months is like a national sport here and people compete about who looks the most tanned.
I really don't like the way tanning makes my skin look desu and i'm pretty concerned about the way the sun makes you look older in time, see 30 year olds looking like they're 45 with leathery skin etc.
So, i tend to avoid the sun and always wear sunscreen in the day.
Im naturally the same colour most people are after 1-2 tanning sessions
So I just wear sunscreen everyday to maintain it and not age poorly

Correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought and was told that sunscreen doesn't stop the tanning and that in fact you'll get more tan if you wear it when you are exposed to sun as opposed to being exposed to sun without any sunscreen - you'll only get burned/red this way.

Sunscreens create a kind of protective "film" on your skin, shielding it from UVA/UVB rays for a certain amount of hour(s) depending on its SPF.
Both the UVA and UVB are responsible for your tanning process, but it's mostly the UVBs that burn your skin and make you crispy that make your body produce more melanin.
So, wearing a sunscreen you're still gonna get tanned BUT a lot slower than without it and the harmful rays are filtered through the sunscreen to minimize the DNA damage to your skin that causes aging effects and the burning/redness.
Actually, not everyone should wear sunscreen on sunny days but you should even wear it on cloudy ones since sun rays can penetrate the clouds and still reach your skin.

I'm strayan, I've got a farmers tan just from walking around normally. I don't give a shit about getting rid of tan lines though. I burn easily and I'm not prepared to spend hours trying to match the colour of my arms and neck to my torso.

The paler the better especially for women. Why would anyone willingly turn their skin to the color of poo?
I am white and prefer to stay white but I do try to get some sun when possible, especcially right after long dark winters because it clears my skin up and makes it smooth. Definetly not interested in being any degree of tan, just wanna look like a healthy person that spends time outside. There isn't much sun in my country anyways.

I think darker skinned women are attractive, but tanning ages the skin prematurely. So in the end i would prefer pale, supple, skin to tan leather.
I'm tanning in preparation for summer, can't hit the august sun with pale skin or I'll burn to a crisp
