if i could give any advice it would be to stick to a 500cal surplus and no more. Avoid fried and fatty foods, personally i would reccomend keeping animal products to a minimum because they have a lot of fat cals NO I AM NOT SAYING GO VEGAN i'm just saying choose your animal proteins carefully. Chicken is awesome. Beef a shit...but don't quote me on that lol.
Plenty of fibre, Plenty of carbs, vitamins are tantamount and last but not least...nothing happens overnight.

I did back 3 days a week, chest 2 and legs 1. Circuit training was on Saturday, occasionally I skipped one back day and used it as a rest, usually once every 2 weeks just so I didn't over train. I only did legs once as I cycle a shit load so my quads are pretty big anyway, but I regret it now as my squat is pretty weak.
For back I just did pull ups, weighted chin ups, dumbell rows, Lat pulldown, variations of. Didn't stick to a routibe as my mate insisted muscle confusion really helps and I should vary my workout, and he deadlifts 5plate so I figured I should listen.
