Eating tasty food?

all the preservatives and carbs

For me it's boredom.
Sugar itself is addictive, and being fed the garbage from a young age causes legitimate changes in the body that makes it hard to ever break away from eating it. Don't feed your kids any shit food ever and there's a good chance they'll grow up healthy

Salt + fat + sugar.

Liberals would have you believe addiction is a disease
It is not
It's a moral failure rooted in weakness
Addictive personality, low dopamine production, sugar itself

>over-consumption of junk food builds up a taste tolerance to salt/sugar. This leads to other foods being tasteless/unpalatable, requiring ever more sugar/salt
>eating when bored/happy/sad/depressed/angry - emotional eating
>the body becomes adapted to the massive swings in insulin due to over consumption of sugar/carbs
>sugar is mildly addictive
Food was my escape. Made me feel good for a brief period of time
