Fat oxidation is a slow process that only occurs when your body doesn't have enough blood glucose to supply the muscles with energy. Eating after would likely cause a slight amount more fat burn but not enough to be significant for anyone who isn't competing. Counting macros is infinitely more reliable and useful
Eating beforehand also means that you have a big lump of food sitting in your stomach that hasn't been digested yet.
Waiting until after means that you are slightly lighter when you're exercising, thus ever so slightly easier to carry as you run
Though your time might marginally improve, you would arguably burn slightly more calories with a belly full of food, as you would be heavier

Fasted training before breakfast is going to burn nearly all fat as opposed to the usual mix of 70/30 carbs/fat. Obviously your total calorie count always matters but fasted training is excellent for cutting

Fasted training does not always mean running. You can lift on it also. And really who runs directly after eating a large meal. You're going to throw up
