hi /fit/
so i started my first bulk , at 200 calories over maintenance 6 days ago.
i gained 900 grams of fat, and only 90 grams of muscle masse.
what am i doing wrong?
should i lower my fat intake?
wouldnt that slow my gains?
pls respond

thougt on that /fit/?

How do you know you gained those proportions?
>>36982001
i have a scale that measure tons of stuff like bodyfat, muscle masse % and all that.
then i just convert the % into kilos, and do that every weeks to see if i'm doing things well or not.
but i dont know if i should have high carb lower everything else, or low carb and high protein diet.

Hahahahahahahahahaha

your scale is inaccurate.
bf measurements vary depending on your hydration, for example. and to gain 900 grams of fat you'd have to have eaten a surplus of 1150kcals a day. at the very least.

this is bullshit, you want to keep your carbs high during a cut to maintain strength levels in the gym

i ate at 200 calories surplus, and thats my first ever bulk.
so if icant use my scale to measure my progress how do i do?
>>36982233
but whats good for bulking?
>>36982291
the rest of the graphs look about right, jut make sure youre getting enough protein (0.8g per lb of bodyweight) and the rest as carbs/fats.

only track your weight and get a good (!) caliper for bodyfat measurement.
I'd also do a clean bulk if i were you, that won't be hard at 200 surplus. might take longer, but in my experience, the result is leaner.

no an empty stomach actually lets you lift more & cuts more fat if you have sufficient fat on your body.
