There's literally no reason not to do cardio

>lets you eat more on a cut or lose fat faster
>increases your cardio for certain lifts
>keeps you from gaining so much fat on a bulk
>fucking works out your heart for you to live

Your cardio doesn't have to be that intense man Jesus

What would be a good beginner cardio routine, senpai?

Grab a bar, slap some babyweight on it, deadlift the thing 10 times or so, then row it about ten times or so, then hang clean it about ten times or so, then jerk it about ten times or so, then either front squat or jumping back squat it about ten times or so.
Drop the bar and immediately do push ups.
Stop a couple reps shy of failure, then rest for 2-3 times the length of time you were exercising (so if your barbell complex took 1.5 minutes, rest 3-5 mins)
Repeat that shit as many times as you feel necessary (but at least three times)
HIIT and fully anaerobic.
By the time you hit the squats, your heart should be pounding like a motherfucker.
Don't use too much weight, but don't go too light, either.
The best part about this is you can progress on your cardio with the same ease you progress on your lifts. (Just slap on a 5lb each side)

The fuck. I take half an hour at the end of my workout at the gym, get a sweat going, and burn some extra calories. I didn't say run a marathon
