>hit bench PR in the gym.
>look at my chest and tris in the mirror that night to see if they got bigger.
Am i the only one who does this?
>>36938384
No
I wear a hoodie/long sleeve shirt when working out to avoid looking like faggots who flex in the mirror after each set
>>36938402
I wear long sleeves sometimes in the gym but i always wear them outside the gym, never would wear a tanktop or anything
>feel like I'm doing well
>muscles are full and vascular
>next day
>look deflated and stringy, get depressed
>few hours later in full again and look good
>few hours later look flat again
Is this normal? Been lifting for 4 years now and I still deal with this shit. My bodycompositin goes from Good to bad to good to bad multiple times throughout the day.
It's really mindfucking.
>>36938402
I mean in the mirror after i get home, not in the gym.
How is the Quasimodo of /fit/ doing lately anyway? Seems like /fit/ bullied him into getting super jacked.

Why try to be conservative? For a humble image?
Just wear a fucking shirt, who cares?
>>36938449
I think he doesn't even lift anymore.
>>36938426
Idk if its my muscles or my mind desu

I wear them to stop from mirin' myself in the gym constantly.
I do this to only analyse myself seriously in a mirror once a month.
Looking at yourself everyday makes you think you aren't progressing that much.
When you do it once a month you notice progress especially after lifting from more than 2 years.

>been lifting for 4 years
>doesn't know what a pump is
Your muscles ALWAYS look bigger when you're working out. It's from the blood suddenly rushing into them.
>>36939448
How do you get them to always look big?
>>36939515
You will never be as big as your pump. Every time your muscles get bigger, your pump gets bigger. Let's say you start lifting as a skelly and get a nice pump. You may look like your very first pump in a month, but by then, your new pump looks like some other juicier fellow. You can always chase a bigger and bigger pump, but it will always get further and further away.
Each pump lasts a few hours.
