I was doing allot of atlas stone work and was very impressed with the way it was developing my back. Sadly my gym don't have stones anymore.
I want some form of heavy back work and I discovered the Zercher Deadlift which sort of looks like a stone or sandbag lift in the initial set up. Has anyone ever used these? They look like a great back developer but I have never done them. What are the benefits?

you can pull a lot more weight than a traditional DL
however, theres a bit of a 'hump' at the start of the lift, the key is to explode at the bottom, this will push you through

What about reverse deadlifts? Which muscle does it target?
