Not even a metalhead, I just feel more comfortable without jarring colors.

then i tried to become a normie in college, used clothes like a dudebro, and a faggit haircut
now i'm becoming a mix again, life as a metalhead was so much comfier, you just didn't gave a shit if you looked cringe to normies

Metalhead reporting in. I do have some blues (denim, natch) but I also have normie clothes (currently wearing plaid PJ bottoms and a plain black t), and also polos and shit.
Throughout high school I was a metal head. Closet was all black except for jeans and a denim jacket I wore everyday.
Now, I'm pretty much a normie. I love the Hane's Cool-Dry and similar polyester shirts. I wish gym shorts had styles like surf /swim shorts actually. I still like metal (some), and occasionally wear a band shirt, but avoid black. My gym has a good mix of ghetto plebs and hood rats. Their attires mostly black, or white. Black shirt, black shorts, black Nike's....

I usually wear one non-black article of clothing like a flannel shirt, sweater etc. depending on the weather. My friends kept giving me a hard time for "dressing like a thirteen year old" so I stopped wearing dad-jeans and bought some sensible shoes/boots to go with them. With my hair pulled back I look like a normie but can still be a walking billboard bands I like.

90% of the time the bands will cut costs by printing on the cheapest shirts they an get in bulk, which are invariably shitty Gildan heavy cotton ones.
Buy band shirts from HelloMerch, they're slightly more expensive but are printed on American Apparel tees, which actually fit a human body. They have some good bands and the designs are generally less autistic than bright album art.

Work shirts are various long sleeved button up shirts with collars, mostly muted plaids but a few solid colours. Flannel and heavy cotton in the winter, lighter cotton, polyester, chambray in the spring and fall, short sleeved Polo shirts in solids for more casual summer days. Work pants are plain chinos and and dress pants for office days, heavy jeans for field days (Denver Hayes kind). I wear short brown leather boots in the winter, brown leather loafers in the summer, in office. Combat boots in the field all year long. I work in land management so it's pretty good, I need to adjust for the season, but I only have 13 work shirts, and one 1 that doesn't go in storage in an off season.
Outside of work I usually just wear black or grey tapered jeans or my Adidas training pants with a t-shirt or my Arsenal kit, or one of my work shirts if I'm going on a date or something. Besides gym clothes, I have a small closet that's full, but not brimming. I hang up all my current season shirt and pants, plus a couple of sweaters. I have a small chest of drawers for socks, underwear and various gym clothes.

I like khakis, nice black shoes, and a dark but simple shirt.
I'm not sure I can go back to jeans for everyday wear. The material feels so heavy now. Khakis with good material is so light and breathes well. Plus it goes with nearly everything and works in most social scenarios.

I did. I wanted to wear them, though not the chained ones, I confinced my mom to buy me a pair but she is a devout catholic and basically thought I was going satanic for some reason. She completely turned around cause all my metal friends were from the smarter classes, we were very mellow; no drugs, hardly any alcohol, no fucking around (normies were the opposite). It went so far that when we were clothes shopping she would secretly buy an extra pair of pants she thought I would like (she certainly liked them) and most of the times those were ones with straps, studs and the whole she-bang. I even had the leather coat but it didn't look so sucky if you're not a boy.

I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. You'll stand out in any environment, not just clubs. I don't go clubbing, and get attention from girls regularly as I travel around my city. Its a first impression thing. At the end of the day, you are right though, its your personality and her vaginal availability that will dictate your success with women. Dressing well will give you a head start. Think of it like that boost you do in super mario kart when the race starts. Its just another thing to consider to give you an advantage as you race to the finish (a date/her bed).
This doesn't mean you wear bright colors, although totally doable. You can add a lot of color in your outfit while keeping you manliness intact.
