At a bodyweight of 220, it really isn't excellent, competitively. As far as I'm concerned, at a bodyweight of 220, there's no point in being anything but competitive, because you're fat as fuck and it takes a lot of work and a lot of food to keep up that size and strength. Yeah, it's an excellent deadlift for a dude in a gym, but not for powerlifting, and if I'm not an excellent powerlifter why would I continue with the sport? Now at 175 and 465 I have a deadlift that's impressive, and more than enough for my goals, and I'm not a fat fuck.
