Dad got me a lifetime membership at 24hour when they were still brand new. I pay $28 per year. Always love the reactions when I go for my renewal.
I'm vacationing in a popular tourist destination in the U.S. and the only gym within walking distance (no car) is $25 for a single session (I'm not kidding) and a bit over $100 for a month. Keep in mind those are in USD.
