I've been donating for years. I would recommend taking the next day off completely, and not working shoulders, arms, etc. the next day. Though, if you're curious what happens if you do decide to work out, the answer is not much. You probably won't be as strong as usual, you may feel slightly light headed, and you maybe have to stop sooner than usual. If you work out your arms/shoulders, it may increase the irritation/bruising near the injection site, but that's about it

I don't sell my plasma. My plasma is way more worth than 24€ so I get an allowance. Win-Win
You can even work in a voluntary capacity and get money. When I did my voluntary social year I didn't get paid. I got an expense allowance of 450€ a month.
And read it up. you can "donate" (did the " " just f-for y-you) with a 2 day break in between. This goes just for blood plasma.

I've never been sore post-donation from whole blood or the platelet apheresis. But it's a good idea to wait a day so that the hole from the needle finishes clotting so it doesn't start bleeding again.
