Post your weight loss story, current or past. Progress pics are good but not required.

I started on February first. A week ago I was down about 5 kg, but now I'm down only about 3 kg because I wen't off my diet for a week. I destroyed over a month's progress in a week. This may not seem like a big deal to you, but I have 46 kg to go until I'm normal so every kg I gain is weeks added onto my already long sentence.

This diet has been really discouraging. When I first started it, I managed to lose 6.5 kg in three weeks. I thought I over did it a bit so I ate normally for like 4 days and went back up 2 kg. Since then I have basically plateaued and haven't lost any real weight. I have just been bouncing between 111 kg and 113 kg. I thought for sure that because of the progress I made in the first month I would be able to lose the weight this year, or at least within one year, by losing 5 kg a month at least, but that just doesn't seem possible anymore.

I have been trying to lose this weight since 2012. I got to 88 kg in 2013, but gained it all back.

Weighed 141 kg when i was 18, droppen down to 60 kg due to weight loss obsession. Now bulkend up muscle miss to 78 kg, 10 % bf. Finally happy with my body, took me 5 years in total thou. I just changed something in my diet/excercise routine everytime i platted. Always small changes because constant drastic changes Will set you up for failure.
Took it a bit to far going to 60 kg but i was happy as shit i could go out wearing a normal shirt and not be embarresed.

Not really weight loss, but muscle gain (positive thinking). Been eating at maintence and doing SL 5x5. I'm going to do IF and cut to get shredded.

Mostly a lifetime of eating badly made me go up to 245 lbs. Went away to uni for a year and went down to 206 lbs without trying since i was walking everywhere. After i came home i followed the sticky and did SL to get to where i am now

still got a gut and have been doing cardio 3x a week to try to get rid of it while my shoulder has healed

although my shoulder is 95% now so im gonna start lifting while cutting and see if i can go from 170lbs to 150 by the end of summer or at least get down to 155

220 lbs to 140 lbs before my bulk (only lasted 2 months due to wanting to be in shape for summer)
Started a few years ago with fuck-around-itis, but started counting calories a year ago and using an actual routine about 6 months back. Excited to lean bulk my way out of baby weight lifting, even if it does take longer. Went from a BMI of 36 to 23 and still don't have loose skin/stretch marks, never want to tempt fate again and bulk too hard. To everyone here who working on losing fat, the feeling you get when you look in the mirror, or get some mires on your hard earned abs, makes it all completely worth it. The energy level raises, the overall sense of well being, the confidence. It's more than just being in shape, it changes your outlook on yourself and what you can accomplish. I know it's hard, but I hope you guys get to experience that feeling with me. Keep going guys, don't give up. Conquer yourself, conquer the world.

5'10", 27. Let myself just get lost in work and never exercise, ballooned out to 130kg.

Exercise every day since Feb, weights, cardio, everything, down to almost 100kg now. Still gotta shitload to go before I hit 75kg but it feels good making progress.

And don't cop out and say lose weight/caloric deficit. I mean specific diets, focus on macros and maybe certain activities (HIIT cardio, jump rope and such)
