His ears are clearly too prominent, which both haircuts attempt to hide, and if we're talking other flaws, his smile looks ungenuine, his eyebrows look like they're made to look that way, instead of just growing in normally like that, and he's lacking in any real cheekbone definition, or particularly noteworthy body.
He's an attractive guy, sure, but both haircuts still suit him, whereas a hitler youth cut likely wouldn't, it would take away from the shape of his face, and highlight his ears.
