When normies on /fit/ say lifting will make you more attractive they are talking about normies, not you. They don't mean a 1-5/10 will become more attractive, they don't even think about that. What they are saying is "if you are already attractive lifting will increase your attractiveness".
When normies say eating healthy and exercising will improve your mental health and even cure depression or social anxiety (some might even say mental illness). Again, this is not for you. What they mean is "if you do nothing but eat junk food 24/7 and are so obese you can barely walk some stairs losing that weight and eating healthier will improve your self body image and thus reduce depression and anxiety.
They don't mean it will cure your severe crippling depression or anxiety. They don't mean you eating a piece of cake twice a week is not healthy.
When normies say to stop touching your face and to eat healthy and get sun to remove acne they don't mean cystic acne that covers your entire body even though you tried everything except accutane. They mean when you have 1-2 small zits on your face when your diet consists solely of junk food.
When normies say be yourself or be more confident to attract girls they assume you are 6+/10. They are not giving advice to you, a 3/10.
