Maintain while lifting. No reason to cut when you're 190 at 6"4. Eat at maintenance, high protein, pick a 3x/week strength program and work hard for a while.

hey guys i was skinny fat, lifted for a year. ive got a fair bit more muscle mass than you, and my gut is about the same. i had a body scan a week ago and im 17% body fat, so youd probably be 20. lift hard and cut for 3 months down to about 11/12% then lean bulk.

All in all not bad. But you need to work on your clavicular head, traps and cut down to 10% and you will be near made-it mode

Cut if Skinnyfat and start lifting

You will make noob gains (muscle gains) while losing fat for awhile in a slight calorie deficit. You want to cut down to 12-13% or lower, this will increase your testosterone levels and regulate your hormone levels and make your bulk amazing when you decide to do it.

If you bulk when skinnyfat you turn into builtfat, and your gains become very hard to see. You will get strong, but you wont have any decent muscle on you until you hit (in your case) around 230-250lbs, which is too heavy. When you go to cut off the fat, you will lose a lot of those muscle gains (your BF% being high will mean more estrogen and less testosterone) which will make retaining the muscle almost impossible.

So my advice to you would be

>Start lifting
>Cut to 12-13% or lower
>Lean Bulk up (slight calorie surplus, maybe combine it with intermittent fasting)

Anybody who says bulk has no idea the struggles skinnyfats endure with high BF% and the effects that has on the body. Your test is almost cut in half at 20% body fat compared to 12-13% and the estrogen in your system is too much.

You might want to consider a test only cycle if you are able to go non natty when you hit 12-13% too.
