>ohp = 32.5kg
>bench = 38kg
how
>>36788755
asteroids.
>>36788755
Both are fucking weak, what are you surprised about?
If you can't bench 100lbs yet and you're whining about your lifts, then you're everything that I've ever hated or will hate.
>>36788755
Hi there, I assume you are asking why your ohp is lower despite being a similar movement
OHP mainly uses your shoulder muscles which are generally quite weak compared to other muscles
Bench on the other hand uses your chest muscles which are quite large and powerful when used correctly
if that is your bench then your OHP is actually pretty good compared to your other lifts
>>36788755
>>bench = 38kg
>>36788755
OHP 42kg
Bench 62kg
And struggling...eat more?
I do 1xF, 2x5
>bench 38kg
Are you a female? That's not even 2 10kg plates on the bar
>>36788755
unless you've been lifting for several months there's nothing unusual there, i struggled to bench 40kg the first time i did it, but could easily OHP 30kg. bench progresses faster than OHP though.
>>36788755
How fucking malnourished do you have to be to not be able to bench at least 115 by default?
I get not going into the gym and hitting 135, especially if you've been inactive your whole life. But any less than 115, or even 100?
You have a lot of work to do, my man.
bench 85.kg
Ohp 50kg
>55 kg OHP for 6 reps
>60kg bench for 5 reps
>100kg bench
>80kg OHP
I should stop training OHP thrice a week
>>36788755
your form probably sucks on both
>>36788755
>Bench 180kg
>OHP 90kg
How to into shoulders?
I can push press 110 easily I just fucking suck at the bottom of the OHP.
>44 kg OHP
>78 kg bench
>both are 3x5 and barbell included
Seriously fuck OHP, I fight for every single rep

>>36790129
I just want to be able to lift a gf over my head one day in the future... is this too much to ask for?
failed my ohp last 2 times on 42.5kg
gonna drop down to 35 and rework my way up with stricter form
>>36790152
Add an extra set while re-loading.
>>36790067
i think its once twice three times a week four times a week etc..
is trice really the way to say it?
>inb4 this is bait
im foreign.
>>36790170
Thrice is a way to say it, but rarely used now.
>>36790170
"Thrice"
It's archaic though so if you use that word seriously it's kinda fedora-tier
>>36788755
>bench 76.6kg for reps
>OHP 52kg for reps
>bench 60kg
>OHP 45kg
>at a bw of 73kg and after 8 months lifting
Just shoot me right now lads
>bench 125kg
>ohp 75kg
feels bad man
benny 150kg
ohp 95kg
fat fuck on the begining of cut, lifts are going up,yeah buddy
>>36790170
thrice, quadrice, quintice, sextice, they all exist, they're just very rare.
it's just like how you won't hear "quintuple" that often, as people will just say "five times".
>Bench 90kg for reps
>ohp 45kg feels cock man
>>36790546
with that bench your ohp should be at least 120kg
>>36790170
I left the thread and came back to see your post and now I feel bad. Thrice is a bit fedora, as the other poster said.
>>36788802
You dont even know what you are talking about.
>OHP mainly uses your shoulder muscles which are generally quite weak compared to other muscles Bench on the other hand uses your chest muscles which are quite large and powerful when used correctly
Fucking bullshit, OHP mainly uses your upper and lower trapezius, serratus anterior, upper pec, deltoids, biceps and triceps and every muscle of your rotator cuff. Almost none of those muscles can be considered 'weak'. You actually use more musculature to perform the press than you do to perform the bench press.
The true reasons why the OHP is harder to perform than the bench press is because it both has a greater ROM and requires higher body awareness and coordination. Also, you arent comfortably laying down and using the whole bench and ground as leverage from which to push the weight, you just use the tiny portion of land that makes contact with the soles of your feet.
>front squat 155x3
>deadlift 275x2
is this bad

Was meant to >>36788792
>>36790441
You are weak as shit. I'm in 4months and its at 60kg already for ohp. I'm also 80kg lanklet and can bench only 1pl8
>BRAH YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO OHP AT LEAST 2PL8 WHEN YOU START LIFTING
>BREH IF YOU CANT EVEN BENCH 1PL8 WHEN YOU START LIFTING YOU MUST BE A GIRL LMAO
>ARE YOU MALNOURISHED OR DO YOU HAVE KLINEFELTERS BRXH
And you cucks wonder why I don't go back to the gym
>>36790986
Dude, I started out with just the bar and it took me a year just to hit 85kg. I'm at a 2plate bench now. Don't let anyone put you off; even if it takes you a lifetime, you'll do it, and you'll do it at your speed.
