Is it possible (or likely) to have 10% body fat and still not

Is it possible (or likely) to have 10% body fat and still not see abs/have stomach fat? I look like the picture on the left, visible ribs when I flex but no abs, and as lightly pot riding stomach when I am not flexing.

I had a 7 point bf% measuring twice last week.
They said i was 12%, and that the reason i dont see abs is 2 fold.

You don't lift, therefore you require to be much leaner to see your abs.

For someone who lifts the following percentages hold true for most people.

15%

>veins on abs

For a non-lifter such as yourself with very little overall muscle mass - You'll need to hit 10% or lower to have visible abs.

12% with mass mostly on hips and lower abs.
It was a SEVEN POINT READING, where they grab SEVEN points of your body to get an accurate body fat reading.
I had this done twice by 2 personal trainers (not mine, they just weren't assisting anyone att), and both times it came out to 12.

Op here. Don't own calipers, but my electronic scale says I'm 9.5%. I knew it was probably way off and not very accurate, but a lot of my buddies who are into bodybuilding say I'm probably close to 10 and how jelly they are. Honestly I'd rather have a dad bod with a decent chest than this auschwitz beer-gut bullshit.

I eat maintenance at least, because I'm pretty much always at 150lbs and hardly gain or lose any. The biggest I've ever been was 160.

Dude, they aren't asking you to use a caliper, use a tape measure and measure in inches around your navel.

Its a somewhat accurate way of measuring bodyfat. Navel measurement divide by Height
15% bodyfat will give you like 45-46% here (or .45-.46)

Some people will have abs show up without working out at all at around 12% bodyfat. Some people will have to hit core and ab exercises and be 10% before visible abs show.
