Senpai I'm barely eating any carbs as it is, with my BMR I'm burning like 3400k a day with exercise, I'm getting like an hour and a half of cardio a day (walking to the gym + intensive cardio @ the gym) plus all the walking I'm doing around the house that I haven't even tallied up

Currently 290. Tdee calculator said my daily burn is around 2900. Is eating 2040 a decent deficit. Sometimes even then I want binge eat so bad.

OP don't listen to these dumbasses. 2400 Calories is great. Do at least an hour of cardio everyday, lift 3 to 5 times a week and eat at least 200g of protein a day. Do that and you're going to lose fat without burning off the muscle you already have.

If you dropped down to 1700 calories, you're going to lose all of your strength and muscle mass and you're going to be a flabby mess.

I'm 6 feet tall Currently 220 but use to be 300. I'm just eating at maintenance which is 2500 and doing stronglifts and losing about a pound or more a week. I live a very sedentary life too. If you try to take it to the extreme you'll just fuck up your metabolism and plateau. Just take it slow and build some muscle to keep your metabolism in check and not look skinny fat. I don't even do cardio. If you absolutely have to eat less than maintenance I suggest 20% less than maintenance at the lowest.

Don't take diet advice from people that obviously have no knowledge on how to lose an excess amount of fat and just like to yo-yo between bulk and cut without reverse dieting to prevent fat gain.

I remember that feel. I was never as fat as you are, but from my experience, don't fall in the temptation of starving yourself. Sure, you might get results faster, but I am literally the only person I know that has managed to keep weight off, and I did it by making the changes as small as possible to begin with, and then slowly adding more exercise and healthier food, as I lost weight.

You don't want to be 180lbs next month, you'll want to be 180 lbs five years from now.
