Help me out /fit/. I'm sore from yesterday's gym routine and I can't go lifting because of that so I have nothing to do. Should I go running? (Don't care if I lose a bit of muscle as long as I lose fat)

Sure, run for like half an hour or something, and when you're done do a thorough stretching routine. Also you could work abs.
Alternatively, if you're on a good program, there's really not any danger in lifting through DOMS.

You do realize you should be following a WEEKLY routine, right?
What muscle groups were you supposed to be working today? If you have read the sticky and are following a decent routine, then those muscles should not have DOMS (be sore).
This is why routines exist. You shouldn't just be waking up and deciding if you feel like lifting or not that day...

You've been consuming too many memes. Cardio never erodes your gains. The only scenario it does is when you're starved 3 days and you decide to do high-intensity cardio.

No. The soreness come from microtrauma in muscle fibers so they need to recover. If you work them out how will they recover?
