How to convince UK Doctor to do bloods?

I'm convinced I'm low test.
How the hell do I, as a citizen of the United cucKdom, with my healthcare controlled by the state, get my GP to take a blood test and prescribe test without saying "hey I think I'm not big enough gib taxpayer gear pls"?

>almost no facial hair
>bouts of depression
>weight loss over the last 3 months of lifting, increased %bf, and no gains
>low energy
>hair thinning

despite

>workout 4 days a week doing every compound I can think of
>balanced diet + protein like a motherfucker hitting macros
>Vit D3 supps, fish oil supps, zinc supps, magnesium supps daily

After a year of working out, starting at 6'1 160lbs skeleton, I've doubled my bench, and got to a maximum of...
165lbs

Today I measured and clocked in at fucking 163lbs. 5lbs difference in body mass can be explained by a large meal or a big shit.

How do I trick my GP into checking my test levels with a view to getting a script without them realising I'm doing that and saying "No Mr. anon you'll be fine would you like some counselling instead"
>>
>>36764499
You can probably get them to test your levels just by saying you're worried about them. Say you've been obsessing about it for a while. If they against all logic decide to first offer you counseling instead of a cheap blood test, accept it and spend the time talking about how you're worried about your test levels. They want to find the cheapest way of getting you to leave, and that's giving you a blood test.

Getting testosterone prescribed obviously depends on the results.
>>
My mood changes alot just like a woman, and i have most of these fucking symptoms. 0 sex drive despite going to the gym and being fairly fit

how do i get a dr in canad ato give me test?
>>

>>

>>36765292

UK Doctors in my experience have this tendency to try and weed out hypochondriacs and people who they don't think need anything investigated, to save the Health Service money.

Basically as far as I've heard, if you do something like going in saying "Doctor I think I'm low test, can I have a blood test done?" They'll go "lol m8 that's cute, you think you're a doctor, how about you go eat more fruit or something before I shell out taxpayer bucks"

>>36765425
Really? Your UK GP did that? Did you describe symptoms and leave them to work it out or literally said "I think I'm low test pls help"
>>
>>36765447
I had a blood test for a dodgy tummy and anxiety, asked for Testosterone to be on the test and the added it no problem.

UK btw
>>
I just asked for a blood test. Stop being such a beta, faggot.
>>
>>36765447
You probably were obviously nervous, which would've made it look like you're lying; hence they'll denonuce you as a hypochondriac.
Be confident in life and everything will be better.
>>
>>36764499

>>

I'm pretty confident it got upgraded to a Class C drug, which I think means possession and importation is now illegal
>>
>>36765641
Nope. Only dealing and manufacture.

Anabolic steroids are controlled as Class C substances under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. There is no possession offence but it is illegal to manufacture, supply or possess/import/export steroids with the intent to supply, without a licence to do so. The maximum penalty for these offences is 14 years in prison and/or a heavy fine.

Are you high test if you are fit, and other men quickly look down or away in a nervous panic when you look at them?
>>
>>36765447
Well think about it, if a doctor did everything people just come up to him about why would he need to be the doctor ? If you're so convinced you just go, you tell him your symptoms you say you're worried about test and if he doesn't want to test it its because its highly unlikely that you actually have low test. 33% of people go through a depression, many many more people feel fatigued, literally EVERYONE is talking about how they get fat no matter what they do.
Anyway if he says no just get you bloods done in an independent company, you can easily find them online and should cost you like 20 to 50 bucks, if your test actually is low just take this result to the doc and he will be sure to test you again and if necessary prescribe you.
Btw TRT is not some kind of miracle drug, it's most likely not gonna change a lot if anything at all oh, and you're gonna get bald more quickly than you normally would have and you're gonna be infertile so if you plan on having babies better freeze some sperm.

>>
>>36764499
UK medfag here, don't straight out ask for it, they likely won't do it if you do.

Tell them you're feeling tired and low on energy and you've been having trouble getting an erection.

If they ask if you've noticed anything different about yourself tell them you feel like you're getting fatter (or that you're losing muscle) despite the fact you're hitting the gym regularly.

They'll probably try play it off as being depression or some bullshit, but if they haven't offered bloods by the end just ask if there are any tests they could do to give you a definitive answer. You could also mention at this point that you googled your symptoms and say it sounds to you like it could be low test then ask if that's something that can be tested. Don't tell the doctor, suggest it: "do you think there's a chance it might be due to that?" or whatever. Don't pressure him but if he suggests it's just depression or whatever just tell him you're not convinced and would get peace of mind from ruling out other causes.

Many hormones play a role on hairloss. Science still has a lot of work

Medstudent here, not from the UK
Have you tried talking with your doctor instead of taking health advice from the internet? I mean, your symptoms could be a lot of things and even if they are low test you should investigate why there is low test (genetical conditions and tumours could cause it and treating the latter could restore your normal levels) and not just hop on exogenous testosterone ruining your own production and fertility.
>>
>>36764499
You've doubled your bench and you think you have low T?

Make an appointment with your GP and ask for some blood tests.

I recently felt like shit so I went and asked for a vitamin D test, turns out I don't have vitamin D in my system, if I hadn't of gone to my doctor I'd of got rickets.

Don't fuck around, just go and get some tests done.
>>

Yes.

It may not be low T, but it's probably not wankings fault.

>>
>>36766498
Don't fucking lecture me you retarded fuck, I never fucking said test is the only cause of hair loss.
>>
>>36765425
And, what was the result?
>>
>>36764499

It's a pain in the ass to get TRT prescribed because they use a scale that doesn't take age into account. You can have the same test as a 70 year old man and they'll give you the all clear, and if you're even slightly above the lower range they won't do shit.

Got my test levels checked, then got a phonecall saying 'you're all good' and that was the end of it. Next time I was at the docs I asked for the results and I got 13.4. The normal range is between 10 and 35. And that's taken in the morning when test is theoretically at it's highest.

They also didn't measure free test, only total test. Probably going to get one more test and then just buy my own TRT if the results are the same.
>>
>>36767354
>because they use a scale that doesn't take age
Your source? Because I am pretty sure that is wrong.

Doubling from 80 to 160 in 12 months is awful for 4 days a week. Took me 3 months with 3 days a week. Same height.
>>
>>36768441
My max bench is like 190lbs at 175lbs bodyweight and I've been lifting for 4 years... my shoulders aren't made for bench I just can't do it without injuring myself. Doubling your bench in 1 year training is not good but Its not incredibly bad either. I'd say its pretty average.
>>
>>36768499
My point is, my bench is horrible, my other lifts aren't really impressive for 4 years training either, but I don't go online blaming muhhh genetics. Obviously there are differences, people shitpost and estat on this forum a lot, at the same time you're not a professional athlete, don't expect insane results. The whole fitness industry is centered around getting big fast naturally and everyone is insecure and scared to be made fun of and just goes with it. Its a spiral keeping itself intact. And people like you just believe it all and end up feeling inadequate.

Check your form. Most of the time when people fomlain about shoulder pain during benching, it's because of improper form.
>>
>>36768980
Getting protein from food is rerarded. Just take 3 scoop powder everyday, and then fill out yr diet with the rest of yr macros. Grats, youve cut your grocery bill by 70%, and you're makeing better gains.

I have none of those except no motivation (and my sex drive is through the roof). Am I just a loser, or does this mean I can be low test too?
>>
>>36769262

You're probably doing what I used to do.

I used to have my elbow out at like a 90 angle from my body. When they should be more like a 45 degree angle or so. Your elbows should be closed to your body rather than far out like you're stretching your wingspan, if that makes sense.

Also sometimes when you take the bar off the rack you push up and out with your shoulders instead of keeping them tight. That was another stupid thing I used to do.

Since doing both of those my shoulder never hurts.

hair loss can be from both abnormally high or low test but male pattern baldness is totally different
>>
>>36766503
I can build muscle but I have other symptoms of low test. Guess no doc would prescribe me test if my arm is 2x size of his arm
>>
>>36775489
Some good old fashioned test results should twist their arm. If your test genuinely is low then they might.
>>
Say you have trouble getting sexually aroused. That's what I did. It was true but it was because I was hung over/half drunk every time I tried
>>
>>36772381

Yeah the UK health care system is pretty cucked mate, moving to the states myself once I qualify
>>
>>36764499

That won't help you m8. Like someone else said above, doctors are iffy about giving you prescription test and they compare your test level to a "normal range" that has nothing to do with your age. You could be at the bottom end of the test range and the doc will say you're good. Just get yourself some test and become a cyclist already because even if he prescribes you stuff it's going to be a low dosage that's gonna put you somewhere in the middle of the "normal" range and the gains will still be slow and shitty.
