Hey guys, I'm 16. I'm 6'1 (got measured today) and my dad is 6'4 so I hope to get to that height. Will I stunt my growth if I start lifting?
I mean, I'm only 16 so I probably have a bit to grow.

theres a research from stanford university that show heavy lifting while teenager will most likely stunt bone growth because the body gets confused of the heave preasure from muscle growth. The human is basicly not designed to lift heavy stuff, but to use easy tools to do the hard work. If you want big explosive muscles entire life you should become a chimpanzee instead
