This is really getting out of hand.
There cannot be a single day on /fit/ without somebody mentioning that women don't care about buff guys.
Every day we have threads devoted to the notion that without a perfect face or perfect hair you cannot ever get laid.
There are several things wrong with these posts, the first is that they make the boring assumption that every human being pursues a goal for sex. Anyone who has cracked open a history book and seen the work of men when they did not need to do anything to get laid will be surprised to find these men pursuing other goals; sometimes sex is really low down in people's priorities.
The second is that every single person who makes these posts is a fat virgin who probably could not inform you of basic female psychology. Women have their own differences: some want to nurture, some want to be protected, some want financial security, some just want decent company, some want to have their brains fucked out etc. Anyone can get a girl if you're standards are realistic and you do not chase girls who have made it clear they are not interested.
The third links to the second, but it is basically the point that women have different tastes. A lot of psychologists believe that our parent of the opposite sex is the standard by which future partners are judged and women have vastly different fathers. Some will like big guys, some will like twinks, some will like defined jaws, some will like cute baby faces, some will like cool blue eyes, others will like warm brown eyes, some will even like bald men.

My advice is to shut the fuck up, get outside more (screw your anxiety, you can sit and make excuses for it all you want, you'll never acheive anything if you dwell on it), get a creative hobby and keep lifting. Dude, I've been lifting for years and in my experience with lots of women, I can honestly say that, yeah, face trumps physique. Luckily I have both.
But women tell me all the time (because I ask and I'm curious) that face > physique. They tell me the truth because they can't offend me - I look good and have a good body. What they tell me is that they appreciate a good body and would like a guy to have one, if possible. But a good looking face really is the priority. After that, women are content to have nothing more than a guy in ottermode. You can always improve a body, but an ugly face is forever.
Also, there's a stigma to guys who are "too big" - we're meat heads, basically. We're not the sort of guy that a woman would take seriously. Meat heads are the male version of the female bimbo. Maybe fun to fuck around with, but you'd never bring one home to meet mom or your friends. They're too trashy. Meat heads are seen the same way.

The real problem are the mods, they need to erase all this cancer from this board, but I have no doubt that even some mods make these virgin threads.
Mods should be choosen by their lifting experience. No one with less than 3 or 4 years lifting should moderate this board, no matter if they lift for bodybuilding or strength. If you lift this long you should know what it is really about. These children who 'lift' for girls are mostly newbies in the gym and stop lifting after a couple of months, because they don't get wat they want.

Ok I said it wrong. By 'naturally athletic' I meant being active since childhood and then growing muscle when hormones start kicking in through puberty. It takes much more time for those muscles to weaken due to inactivity while weighlifters need to maintain their strength constantly. Genes are very important to so it sorta justifies 'naturally athletic' thing but not if you're inactive your whole life.
