Do exercises like squats and calf raises stunt growth? I'm 19 and have been lifting on and off for 4 years, my legs are still skinny because I'm sort of nervous about going too heavy and stopping myself from growing an extra inch or two before I'm in my early 20s and done growing.
No. Complete myth.
Any other questions?

Weight training does not stunt growth.
Impact sports like gymnastics and football delay growth. But when the activity stops, the growth picks up where it left off.

No, that was my only concern. I think if anything, it most likely would help my growth because of the testosterone increase an exercise like squats bring.

I don't have any interest in sports, so that works out nicely. Thanks.

>he doesn't know males can have growth spurts until they're 25
I went from 5'11 at the end of high school to 6'3 when I was done with college, my man.

Jesus. I wish that happened to me.

Then you're some kind of rare example. I was 175 when I was 15, 180cm when I was 18, and I'm 181cm now that I'm 25. None of my friends have grown after 18.

Just wear work boots as your normal shoes. Also, there's no reason to give up hope until 23. It's not like 5'10 is short or anything.

Not really, it's just that on average males stop growing around 18. It's the same as penis size, it's very easy to be above the average or below it since it's all based on genetics anyways. My dad isn't that tall but some of my uncles and some of my mom's uncles all grew taller as they got older. It's honestly not that rare.
I should rephrase that, males on average tend to stop gaining height at 18, unless you have low testosterone your body keeps growing until you're 23-25.
