>finish 4 months chemotherapy
>lose 25 pounds
>185 pounds/84kg 6 foot/184cm
>barely any muscle left
>can barely walk
>can barely open water bottles
>have to use body weight to open doors
>if I squat it feels like my body is going to buckle up and collapse
>constantly stumbling and almost falling over
>no idea where to start to repair myself muscularly
What do? My diet is currently various vegetables and proteins, eggs , beet soups, beef, potatoes etc just to boost hemoglobin and my neurophils. What body part should I start on or should I just do my whole body? I used to swim before I started chemo.
Please help. I feel so weak and I don't want to. I can't even walk properly.
Resistance bands. You get a ton of different grades.
Does your hospital not have a rehab wing?
post a pic for curiosity
Use cannabis oil

In many european countries you could get an additional 6 months of partially paid leave to recover.

so you lost 25 pounds to get to 185?
You didn't swim at 210/6ft.
you're a liar
your cancer is a lie
>>36745714
>mfw I am 6 foot 145 pounds
A literal cancer survivor weighs 20 pounds more than me and feels weak

I did m8.
Look at my scar and wire in my neck and port
Yeah I know it's odd but this was like 4 times a week for fun swimming alongside gym not competive Olympic swimming
>>36745755
I asked, they had nothing and just told me to leave
>>36745860
ohhh fun swimming. gtfo here.

Can you just tell me how to stop being small
Palliative or adjuvant, anon?
>>36745975
Adjuvant. I'm 100% cured of cancer now. Had hogkins lymphoma
>>36745714
SS + GOMAD
>I had 6 months and lost 50 lbs
>6'1 135 lbs
Was back at full strength within a year.

Find a physical therapist and ask about your situation. /fit/ won't be very helpful to you
I'd start trying to walk more often and do very light exercises at the gym. Pushups and very light dumbbell rows if that is all you can do.

There's info missing.
Use CBD cannabis oil, not thc. CBD's have nothing to with getting you high (they don't) and contain the anti carcinogenic properties of pot.

Right now your main concern is to survive. What protocol did you use? CHOP-R? If so - your tendons and ligaments are gonna be fucked, and the prednisone will also have fucked with your insulin sensitivity.
A. Do whatever the oncologist tells you to do. If she says walk, walk. If he says do resistance bands, do resistance bands. If she says weights, weights, and so forth.
B. DO WHATEVER THE ONCOLOGIST TELLS YOU. If you've done four months that's about six full cycles? Your only job right now is to survive.
C. Don't feel bad. You survived. You would likely be a lot worse off, or even dead, if you weren't fit to begin with.
D. If you were a swimmer, mention it: if the doctor knows,he or she might prescribe water therapy. It certainly is easier on the joints.

I guess this is the best I can do. Thanks guys, gonna start trying to get my life back on track.
>>36746015
Yeah I had that same shit. Why the hell did you only get 4 months of it? They're supposed to do 6.
>>36746127
Chemo was more effective than expected for me, I was planned 6 with radiation but by the second cycle 75% of it was gone
>>36746148
Cool. I didn't get radiation so i dunno if that made a difference. You'll be feeling normal enough a couple of months after the last one. Good luck.
Obviously talk to your oncologist but be prepared to hear a bunch of safe, noncommittal advice. My dad had a BMT to treat leukemia and withered like a worm in the sun. they kept talking about getting his strength up and putting weight on but all they suggested was high cal diet.
