50 years old and want to get back in shape. I'm 6ft 205 lbs. Lost 20 pounds since the first of the year. Walking 5 miles a day and plan on hitting the weights. Also is Creatine safe to take? Was told it would benefit someone my age.

Hey OP, 41 year old here. /fit/ is great for humor and the sticky is mostly good but I'd be really hesitant take take any advice from the kids here.
Some of them will give you incorrect info because they're trolling you and some will give you incorrect info because they are certifiably retarded. Either way there are better boards out there for getting accurate fitness info. Come to /fit/ for the humor but go elsewhere for accurate info.
