See a lot of girls squatting this way because of instagram. I don't think shins being too vertical is a bad thing though, I did a review of the literature and the whole knees shouldn't go past toes thing is basically ideal but not essential

He's not spotting her, he's correcting her form. That's probably why she's squatting such low weight.

Her lower back is probably a touch too hyper extended, though I'd like to see from dead on the side; it's pretty common because men basically have to strain themselves just to get a straight enough back, only women are typically flexible enough to do that, so it happens when men aren't experienced coaching women.

Her shins seem very vertical, even for the most glute intensive low bar back squat around. Her legs are quite long though, which might be throwing me off.

She is only just barely to parallel, and I'd believe it if somebody said she's a millimeter above it.

She could probably stand to have a more neutral neck position, though it's a bit long so it's hard to be sure.

It's really hard to see in this angle, but I think her hands might be out too far for optimal back tightness.

Her upper legs are great though, neither shoved out too far nor too narrow, and her heel width and toe turn-out are pretty solid for optimal full-leg muscle engagement.

5kg "training plates", as they're known, are excellent for people learning to do exercises that start on the floor (deadlifts, olympic lifts, rows, etc) but who can't do 135lbs with them yet.

That said, no idea why she'd choose to use them on squats. Maybe she's really poor and they're her only 5kg plates.
