Are facial gains from lifting normal, or is it freakishly rare?

Facial gains have to be genetic.
I lost 65 lbs from diet and cardio, while improved still had a chubby face.
Now I am lifting and getting fucking swole, in the process I have increased food intake and bulked about 10lbs. Face is the first thing to blow up. Literally have a defined 6 pack and yet still have fucking 2 chins.
Makes me rage.

Over the last year and a half i think puberty hit me big-time.
I got hairier, I think my neck thickened, my jaw is more pronounced, and my face is less chubby even though I have put on like 10 kg since then. And my libido shot through the roof.
Its a nice feeling, tempered by the fact that I am still 5'9.
But then again, maybe its all in my head. Idk.
