I've never seen anybody do them in real life, or anybody worth a shit claiming to do them as their primary bicep movement. Probably a meme lift, but they feel hard.

I agree, exceptions are the Yates row and the Pendlay row, but they we're basically regular rows with just a little adjustment not trying to meme up a movement and claim it's worth anything more than anything 'regular'.
