I took DNP a year ago for 3 weeks and last month I found out I have hypothyroidism.
Can DNP cause hypothyroidism? How can I cure it?

DNP doesn't cause hormone/thyroid problems in itself, but it basically causes you to be cutting at a really big deficit. And cutting at a big deficit for a long time screws up hormones.

DNP suppresses T3 production, which is produced by the thyroid. Everything I've ever read states that T3 levels go back to normal shortly after discontinuing DNP.

I had my thyroid taken out because it was covered in tumors. While I recovered, I autistically learned everything I could about its place in the endocrine system. The other anon is right, DNP often blocks the production of triiodothyronine. If you start on supplemental hormones, your body may never ramp it's production back up, as the supps will be meeting your body's need for hormone and it won't be sending out TSH, thyroid stimulating hormone. Give it six months to a year, if signs of hypo persist, then give your doctor a call.
Hopefully you didn't fuck up your thyroid. There's no getting off that wild ride, let me tell you.
