Try eating mars bars instead.
>>
>>36663581
maybe
>>
>>36663581
actually probably.
Eat sardines man,m lower on the food chain. They don't have nearly as much mercury.
It's from an effect called 'bio-accumulation' where the big fishies have more mercury in them from eating things below them, the chain goes down.
Sardines are mad, cheaper, same omega 3 just taste stronger.

>muh gout
red meat, poultry and fish is almost invariably high in purines. Tuna is high in purines too.
>that's why you should go vegan!
Asparagus and cauliflowers are high in purines too.
Just drink.

mackerel could be better and still cheap

Do they end up in wheel chairs as a direct result of not eating tuna ever day?
>>
Oh fuck, I just ate 600gr
I eat around 2-3 cans everyday
48 cans of 100gr/each for $30 is realy cheap
>>
2 cans of sardines (240g) already sets you above the recommended.mercury doses.
>>
Holy shit, you can figure out a safe mercury dose with a google search. How did you manage to neglect it so long?

That said, tuna is god tier as far as gains foods go, up there with greek yogurt and eggs
>>
>>36665467
>a google search will tell you the safe mercury dose
>tuna is still god tier
>on par with greek yoghurt and eggs

Are you mentally impaired? Literally a google search will tell you that the tuna is literally not safe if you eat it more than once a week
>>

All of the actual sources with scientific evidence instead of just blogs made by scared shitless soccer moms say a normal weight man can eat a lot of tuna before any worries. The only people who should be concerned are pregnant women.

Let me google for you:

>less than two servings/week

Literally one of the first results. You're the one who's reading soccer moms' blogs it seems.

Eat shit.

Depends on the tuna. Skipjack tuna doesn't really have that much mercury, but I would still cut the consumption down.

I knew a guy who religiously counted all his macros and micro nutrients every day, was in incredible shape and very healthy.

He died at 32.

Was run over by a bus.

Thought not.
>>
>>36669872

Yes, it was mercury poisoning. Are you retarded or just trolling?
>>
>>36670218
What the fuck has mercury got to do with wheelchairs? Are you thinking of aluminium?
>>
>>36664986
>>36669872

Nah, he got hit by a truck. But he did eat tuna everyday tho
>>
>>36670489

Mercury poisoning is how he ended up in a wheel chair, he got the mercury poisoning from eating tuna frequently because tuna has mercury in it.

Effects of mercury poisoning:

>impairment of speech, hearing, walking; and muscle weakness.

Google the rest.

So it's easier for the government to spy on us, you moron.
>>
>>36671045

There's mercury in the plankton that the tuna fish eat and it accumulates, but it's only a small amount.

>>36671211

Funny? The government already has every means of spying on people, facebook info, social security, medical records, debit and amazon history and PRISM. They don't need to spike tuna fish.
