Recovering skeleton here. Been eating better (and doing strong lifts 5x5) for about a month but I'm fucking sick of chicken/rice/broccoli

Can you post some (relatively clean/healthy) high protein recipes for me?
>>
eggs

My breakfast game is all good. Eggs, oats, banana, coffee.

More looking for lunch/dinner.

Thanks tho, I guess
>>
>buy chicken seasoning
>thighs are juicier, just trim the fat off
>switch out rice for quinoa, barley, or lentils
>spinach is the only acceptable substitute for broccoli
There you go lad

Just put everything in OP pic in a stir fry and add whatever spices you like

How about eating beans lentils and chick peas

Make a carbonara pasta with quark cheese and bacon.. plus veggies like cauliflower. Or just eat a soup/ veggie shake.

My el-cheapo dinner is:
- Brown rice
- Frozen mixed vegetables
- Two eggs
- Three slices of cheese singles
- Tin of tuna
Mix that shit together, add some sriracha and black pepper and you're golden. If you don't have a gf you can just chuck shit in a pan and eat it more or less, don't have to care about it being fancy.

Buy the leanest ground chicken/turkey/beef you can. Put it in a frying pan till it's browned. Add taco seasoning packet and 1/4 cup of water. Stir that shit. Once it boils take it off the heat.

Put the meat into tortillas with cheese, lettuce, tomato (sour cream?) and eat it

Takes like 15 minutes total and if you cook a pound of meat it could last you a few days of dinners/lunches

Olive oil 1-1/2 tablespoons
93/7 lean ground turkey (or beef) 1-1/3 lbs.
Water 2 cups
Red onion chopped 1/2 medium onion
Red bell pepper chopped 1 pepper
Minced garlic 1-1/2 teaspoons
Diced green chilis 6 tablespoons
Crushed tomatoes 28 ounces
Crushed red pepper 1 teaspoon
Reduced-sodium black beans 15 ounces
Reduced-sodium dark red kidney beans 16 ounces
Low-sodium chili seasoning mix 1 packet

Heat a large pan on stove at medium heat.
Add olive oil and let that heat up.
Add lean ground turkey and brown on both sides, being careful not to overcook.
Add remaining ingredients and incorporate everything together, stirring occasionally.
Turn up the heat and bring chili to a boil.
Cover chili, lower heat, and simmer for another 30-35 minutes.

Chicken breast: 1-1/2 lbs.
Jumbo shrimp, raw, peeled, and deveined: 1-1/2 lbs.
Coconut oil: 2 tbsp
Short-grain brown rice or Arborio rice (cooked): 4 cups
Low-salt chicken broth: 2 cups
Red onion, sliced: 1/2
Roma tomatoes, diced: 2
Frozen peas: 2
Lemon juice: 1 lemon
Garlic paste (or minced garlic): 1 tbsp
Smoked paprika: 1 tbsp
Saffron threads: 1/2 tsp
Sea salt: to taste
Pepper: to taste
Fresh parsley: to garnish

Cook rice according to the instructions on the packet and set aside. To save time and space in the kitchen, I use a rice cooker.
Chop raw chicken breasts and shrimp into small pieces.
Set a cast-iron skillet on medium-high heat and add 2 tbsp coconut oil. Once it's melted, add red onion and garlic paste. Stir with a wooden spoon and cook until the edges of the onion have browned.
Toss in raw, chopped chicken breasts and cook until the chicken is 75 percent done. Don't be alarmed if some parts of the chicken are still pink.
Toss in raw shrimp and stir with wooden spoon or spatula. Cook until the shrimp is about 75 percent cooked.
Add paprika and a pinch of sea salt and pepper. Stir.
Add in cooked rice and diced tomatoes. Stir and reduce heat to medium.
Pour in the chicken broth and add saffron. Allow the contents to simmer, and gently stir.
Allow everything to cook for about three minutes. If you'd like to, add fresh lemon juice.
Add frozen peas and stir. Allow the paella to simmer for about five minutes, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

The best roasted potatoes ever:

Peel, cut into small chunks, throw into boiling water for about 10 minutes, or until cooked/ slightly overcooked.

Then drain the water, and toss them around a bit (important) to kinda break the edges a bit (you know when there's those little white chunks on surface when u overcook a potato - you want this), throw them on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Bake them for about 30 minutes, maybe at 180-200 C . Or basically until they are golden brown and crisp.

They will be very soft on the inside, but extremely crunchy and delicious.
>>
Would there be any interest in one of these for shoyu chicken (Hawaiian teriyaki, more or less)? I'll be making it sometime in the next few days and figured it would be a good recipe for you guys. It's cheap, tasty, and reasonably healthy if you replace the customary macaroni salad that accompanies it with some veggies. Also good for impressing qts, if you do it as a braise like I'm going to instead of throwing it in a slow cooker until it falls apart like pulled pork (although that's delicious in its own right).

Solid recipe, anon. I've made potatoes this way plenty of times and it always turns out great. The one thing I'd change is to add salt at the boiling stage like you do with pasta instead of afterwards.
>>
>>36676784
Oh, and if you're going to do this you need to add way more salt to the water than you would in the original recipe. A good rule of thumb is that the water should be slightly saltier than you want the final dish to be
>>
>>36675603

SLOW-COOKED INDIAN CHICKEN

been making huge batches of this every weekend and eating it nonstop

take 2 onions, chop them up, put them in hot oil in dutch oven / large pot

add garlic-ginger paste (mince and grate this fresh for maximum flavor but i know you're all lazy fucks so just buy the tub of it)

fry off raw flavor

add chopped tomato, chili paste, and 2 big tablespoons of spices. just buy a jar of garam masala -- mixed coriander, cumin, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc

tear skin off chicken thighs. add and coat in onion paste

cover and cook on low for an hour or longer. chicken thighs don't dry out like shit-tier boneless skinless chicken breast

stir in yogurt cilantro, lemon, whatever when done. eat with naan. so fucking good.
