>do squats for the first time with significant weight
>walking is a struggle the next day
is this normal?
>>
Yes.

You'll stop getting it after a while though.

Totally normal just make sure u take rest days between leg work outs you'll be fine
>>
>>36655288
how much of a rest?
>>
Anyone else have their heart rate shoot up when they do squats? I feel like I just got done doing cardio when I squat.
>>
>>36655292
Atleast a day, preferably two if you did 5x5 above baby weight
>>

>>36655366
what's baby weight
>>
>>36655470
You sure ask a lot of questions, don't you?
>>
>>36655470
Just take a day off. Working through DOMS is part of the game, you'll feel better a couple sets in.
>>
>>36655483
what makes you say that
>>
>>36655363
That's completely normal. Step up ur cardio game tho, eventually you'll get to a point where simple exhaustion stalls you rather than a lack of leg strength
>>
>>36655363
bigger muscles = more needed bloodflow

rest more between sets if you need to
