If you have a good dead lift you have a good squat by default. Squats are bad for your knees and your back as 95% doing them have improper form, that includes people on /fit/

I have never seen anyone ever do a snatch. Is there a reason to beyond training for the Olympics? I rarely see people do clean and presses either, and that's my favorite lift.
Squats. The perfect squat doesn't hurt you and is a great exercise, but if you have the slightest asymmetry or bad proportions have fun with those knee/hip/lower back injuries
