What do you think about the "sugar is poison" bandwagon? I feel like the "evidence" Lustig presents is quite lacking. Just because fructose is processed similarly to ethanol doesn't make it a neurotoxin...
Obviously, too much sugar is bad and we should eat more complex carbs, but it's not like refined sugar will kill us in any way but obesity or diabetes...

All things in moderation, OP.

I put sugar in my tea and coffee. Justfication being that 1) it's way less sugar than in pop or juice, 2) it keeps me drinking fluids all day.

For me, staying hydrated trumps no sugar, and since pretty much all sugars in the same, I'll stick with the cheapest, most flavour neutral one.

This. Too much lifting is bad for you. So is too much sleep, and too much food.

Excess is what's bad, m8.

except tea and coffee dont really hydrate you because caffeine is a diuretic. your mental gymnastics are bad and you should feel bad fatty.

I think he meant the coffee makes him drink more since it's kinda dehydrating

>implying I don't drink decaffeinated tea

Pure broscience.

You'd have to drink more than 10 cups of black coffee, and twice as much tea per day for it to have a diuretic effect.

Basically wrong. Although caffeine is a diuretic the amount of water that you are consuming with the caffeine means you will be hydrated.

>I put sugar in my tea and coffee.
Fucking hell just drunk it without like a adult.
>it keeps me drinking fluids all day.
Just drunk water numb nuts.
>For me, staying hydrated trumps no sugar
These are not mutually exclusive. Water has no sugar
