Broksis, I mean being able to see a serving on a plate and say "well, that chcken breast of that size is X cals, and the veggies will have Y carbs, and Z cals the meal total, with the oil I added and everything I have this many fats, etc."
Of course you can read the lable on processed foods and add the numbers, you derps.

Uh wut. The only thing you would need to weigh is meat and you can guesstimate weight after seeing it so many times. +/- 50 cals isn't going to fuck you up unless you're constantly doing one or the other when cutting/bulking respectively.

OP, I just use an Excel spreadsheet I created for the purpose, and another one that contains data on foods I commonly eat. Before that I used paper notebooks that I carried around with me. Once you get into the habit of doing it, you remember what you eat during the day and can tally it all up at the end of the day.

What's good about that? If you want to be doing 3,000 cals a day, and you add them up and you are behind 500 you just eat it all at once? if you are above you go do cardio? or you eat less the next day?
