do you not have any idea what your tdee is?
>>
>>36629804
Google tells me i need 2200-2400, which is weird ,How many calories do you think i should have?
>>
>>36629837
Minimum id do is 3000

Im 5'10" and 160lbs, and if I eat less than 2700 calories a day I actually lose strength in the weightroom.
>>
>>36629837
Eat until your gaining weight AND getting stronger, that was hard
>>
>>36629837
3k with 150g protein or more fit into it.
>>
>>36629849
>>36629866
Holy fuck, 3k , Would'nt i end up as a fatass if i eat that much? sorry for the stupid question it's my first time "bulking" after going down from 240 lbs
>>
>>36629892
Not if ur doing heavy compounds every other day.

If you notice you're getting a little too fat you can either cut down on the food slightly (-250cal/day), or just spend an extra 45 mins in the gym doing accessory lifts and make even more gains.

But watch your body every day. Idk if this is true for everyone, but my body is extremely responsive to changes to my diet, so i can tell if I'm starting to get fat within about two days.
>>
breh I'm same height and weight and I eat around 2800 and am rising it to 3k because it's not enough

2200-2400 is way too low for you
>>
>>36629849
This sounds about right. I'm slightly over 6'0 and 175 lbs and anything under 3100-3200 is where i start losing strength / stop gaining weight.

If you are trying to LOSE weight, don't listen to these guys.

But yea If you want to get fat and stronk, do it I guess.

I am losing weight myself, and happier doing that.
>>
>>36629670
Way too low. I do around 2200 at 63kg with compounds 3x/week, some accessories and regular walking (no cardio).
>>
also depends on what kind of food ur eating. sugary shit wont help ur workout energy , oats and bananas will.
>>
>>36629670

TO LOSE FAT (RECOMMENDED): 2k+-200

TO GAIN MUSCLE: 3.3k +-200 calories/day

Ofc keep your protein high and try to limit carbs.
>>
if you're 180cm 75kg you should focus on gaining muscle mass. it will make cutting easier and you'll look better. beginners always seem to think that getting rid of the fat is the goal, but it's not. it's very easy to lose excess body fat compared to building a decent amount of muscle mass. focus on getting big and strong without increasing your bf%, then cut later when you actually have a chance to look good.

>If you are trying to LOSE weight, don't listen to these guys.
Obviously not, fuckin weakling.
>>
Ok thanks guys, i'll definitly increase my calories to 2800-3000 since im trying to build muscle atm
>>
>>36630145
Most of my calories are from whole wheat bread, oats, peanutbutter, fruits veggies and chickens i try to stay away from sugar as much as i can
>>
Oh and will doing IF affect my progress? Because i feel more comfortabe shoving my face with food for 6 hours instead of having to plan eating for whole day
>>
>>36630804
But i don't want it to affect my muscle gain/building progress
>>
>>36629670
>180cm 75 kgs
THANKY YOU HUNGRY SKELLINGTON
>>
I'm 172cm 61kg and I consider 2400kcal not enough to bulk, I don't think anything over 2000 will make you lose much
