How do people only do 2 warmup sets before their working weight?
Say if i'm benching 2 plates.. I usually do
85 x 5
135 x 5
165 x 5
190 x 3
205 x 1
225 3 x 5
Is this too much?
I feel like I wouldn't be warmed up at all with just 2 ramped up sets.

bar
135
185
225
The only thing I've ever had to warm up for is cleaning my ohp weight and that takes like three reps.

This is basically what I do. Biggest guys at my gym do the same thing. Guy who ends up working at 315 starts at 95.

I do 135>185>205

People don't.
I do (as a blueprint, varies for each lift)
Very Light 2x5
Light x5
Medium x3
Heavy Medium x2

I also mix in bodyweight pullups AMAP before my working weight. I find that helps me get warmed up, and it's a decent pull balance to the bench. I don't bench the bar because I'm confident enough in my form to start with 135. 10 easy reps of 135 is what I do to start.
I usually do a three set build up
Ex: 135x5,155x5,175x5
