you're seriously overestimating how expensive strongman is. Bearing in mind you don't start out eating 10,000 calories a day and roiding yourself to the gills, it's very easy to get started. You can make atlas stones for hardly any money and making/accessing other gear isn't difficult either, even in poorer countries. It honestly only needs a big outlay once you're already successful
