Where on chest? Forearms are vertical when doing a CGBP to belly. So I hope you don't just mean torso in general.

As long as grip is closer than the width at which forearms are vertical with bar on chest (or throat, kek) with upper arms perpendicular to torso (and not closer than shoulder width) forearms can always be vertical.

Messing around with lower percentages when doing deads helped a ton.

It even felt fine while doing snatch grip deficits and regular deficits with chains. Pretty sure it's the extra volume and practice doing its job.

My quest to squat slightly better continues.

Apparently Sheiko tells people not to lose control of the bar at the top of the squat - something that SHOULD have cost me my third at my last competition - so I just that to be useful advice and have made the change. It does make my lifting look more controlled doesn't it?

Anyway, still focusing mainly on two points: knees out as always, and not "bum shoving" or good morning it, or just making sure my knees and hips extend together and I don't pitch forward or let my back round. My 5x3s at 80pc are all looking good, and I've started doing the second squats high bar and no belt for... extra extension work and to teach myself to hit depth better? Idk the same person who went to talk to Sheiko and told me not to lose energy at the top told me to do high bar for two months so I'll follow what he says.

are you still making gains? Have you checked out the advanced TM in the dropbox by Lascek? It could be that deadlifting and squatting both intensity on the same day is getting too much. He says to start changing to one for speed and one for intensity every other week.

I'm just doing it for squats. I ran TM for squats 6 months ago, before I was ready, and ID always felt like trash then. I'm not very strong, considering I just got off of SS for squatting two weeks ago. And I am still making gains, but with how terrible it feels and moves, I feel like I'm going to stall very quickly, like within the next 1 or 2 IDs. I'm still on SS for deadlifts, but deadlifts move amazingly, just squats feel like absolute ass.

I was arguing for oly (and even moreso for PL really cuz u lift mucho more) that 1pl8 should be 75kg (25kg plates plus 2.5kg collars), 2pl8 would be 125kg, 3pl8 175kg, etc, 50kg jumps not 40kg.

Hmm. I'm not sure then. Maybe you overestimated your 5rm for your squat? So are you still on SS for your bench too? I'm assuming you are going squat, bench, deadlift on your squat ID day? are you dealifting once or twice a week? I would almost want to switch straight to TM for all your lifts so that you have proper recovery time for all of them. but I'm no programming expert by any means.
