This is me lads, 6'1 194 lb of garbage, just started lifting. Do I have potential? Any good tips besides sticky?

Seriously though, what do you think? I used to think I looked average, decent, until one day I looked critically at myself and realized I'm not.
I've changed diet and been lifting for a week, feels alright so far. Hoping to cut down to 165 lbs than start bulking.

What do you mean by clean? Will 170 be enough? I am really not okay with putting on a lot of fat, even if it is for gains. Been near-chubby all my life, I've had enough of this.

On a serious note, you can't really tell someone's potential by looking at their untrained body (just look at Zyzz for example). You'll only be able to know for sure once you get there.

I'm also 6'1'' and used to be about 165, believe me you're not really gonna look any better dropping down into the 160s, it's just gonna accentuate how much muscle you don't have. Get to about 175-180 I would say.

The other candyasses were too nice to say it. But there is a bright side. Muscles look good. Bulk, CLEANLY, and you'll be fine. Also get a tan.

If I bulked now, I would gain weight as well as muscle, I wouldn't fit in my fucking clothes.

you have a good start, man. High protein (1.5g per weight), 1500 cal/ 3 meals 2 snacks.

You will see results in 3 months. The diet is most important. Get someone to help you workout if you've never done it.

If you miss a workout day, make sure you really stay consistent with your diet. As they say, abs are made in the kitchen.
