Steel cut oats needs to be cooked.
Rolled oats can be eaten as is but can also be cooked if you prefer it.
Instant is garbage. Don't buy it.

Most people agree that it tastes better with milk than with water, but you're a fatty so I recommend trying it with water first because calories.

If it doesn't keep you full, do eggs instead of oats. Protein keep you full longer.

The diet as a whole counts more than individual meals. I recommend calculating your macros (and your TDEE if you haven't done it yet) to see how many you need of each and try to get your carbs from good sources. Your corn flakes are processed, so oats would be a better choice, especially if you have insulin issues. Space out your carbs so you don't binge on them on one single meal. This way you get a steady source of energy rather than spiking.

During the work week: About fiddy grams jumbo oats with milk in the microwave, with dessicated coconut and stevia and a mug of expensive instant coffee.

Saturday morning I go rowing with my rowing club so i have breakfast at 10am ish after that, usually a protein shake and something dirty like brioche or cinnamon rolls to replace dem carbs.

Sunday is scrambled eggs and sausage or something cooked like that with some home ground cafetiere coffee
