How much running is too much. Should I run everyday? I usually run 2-4 miles a day.
>>

Enough to interfere with your goals, whether that be an injury or you're unable to gain weight which can be remedied by eating more.

That said, 2-4 miles a day isn't that much of a biggie imo.
>>
>>36583659
I'm working my way up too more. My goal is five miles in the mornings and lift in the evenings. I may change this as. I go on.
>>
>>36583693
You'll be fine, just be careful squatting with tired legs.

As you progress to intermediate status and you want to continue upping mileage/poundage might be worth checking out the book below, I haven't read it but the author is Viada is legit:

Stay safe anon.

Just be careful legging with tired squats?
>>
run when you're being chased.
i find thats enough cardio
>>
>>36583625
I once went 20 miles in a day
One of my proudest moments since I've come a long way from being a fat shit

You can never run too much as long as you take care of your body through your diet
>>
>>36584284
Kek, I meant running with tired legs, but yeah "vice versa" probs wasn't the right phrase.
>>
>>36583625
You can run as much as you want,
as long as you aren't running more than 30-40 miles a week and not running everyday.
You should also take a week off from intense running every month or so.
Leg/foot fractions take a few days to heal, as long as you give yourself time to repair there is little to no issue.

Vain, egotistical, dies at age 23 in a sauna.

Created a religion that has withstood the test of time. Enlightened. Transcends durka and ends his chain of suffering.

Gee, I sure feel like standing right now...
>>
>>36583625
Running every other day about 2-4. Walking every other day probably about 3-4
>>
Don't run on cement daily and you're golden. Trail run, grass or track surface if you're going to do it every day. You'll be really upset when you're 60 that you can't even walk because you decided it was a good idea to run every day on cement in your 20s
>>
>>36587382
I think you are retarded. Maybe about 80% sure of it.

Budai didn't create a religion. he's little more than a folk hero.

>>36583625
Anything under 15 miles per week is free. 15 - 25 miles per week may or may not be beneficial. Over 25 miles per week is hard on you.

Wanna know how I can tell you're fat?
>>
>>36583625

This is a statue of David, sculpted by Michelangelo (the 16th century artist, not the ninja turtle).

I think 4 days of cardio a week is the most a person should do. Definitely no more than 5 in any scenario.

Running is great, but you can't overdo it or you'll fuck your knees long term.

I think 5 - 10 miles a week is good, no more.

I like to switch it up and do swimming in the winter to give my knees a break.

Does forefoot/midfoot striking reduce knee damage? Should I start switching my style before I start making big time running gains?

here
>>
>>36588029
Yes, try to strike with a midfoot, if you heel strike a lot you will mess up your joints in the long run. A good tip for running form is to go barefoot and try to run, if you are a heelstriker you will notice discomfort when running, then adjust your form and run with shoes on.

It's a different buddha, there's more than one.

Founder Buddha (Gautama) is the one with the hair in like stacked ringlets or whatever you'd call it. Fat Buddha is Pudai

>>36583625
Depends on your goals, if your training for an event (marathon,10k, etc) then it is vital to keep your mileage (I'm around 60-70 miles a week atm). If your doing it for exercise 2-4 miles a day is good.
