Going okay. 6'2.5, got up to 209 bulking. Pissed away all the glycogen waterweight and was around 200 in week one, weighed myself as low as 195 around week 3, althoug hafter Easter brunch cheat day I was around 198. Now, my cutting gains are fucked because I got bursitis from running. Anyone who knows how to get that to disipate sooner, please let me know.

My lifts have stalled since a week or two (started lifting properly at the same time I started the cut) but I'm down about 15kg and retained all my muscle. Two more doses yohimbine left and a weeks supply of stackers. Cutting until I'll have nice and defined abs, the top ones have already come out.

I had swings of like 6-7 lbs before, then was back to normal right after. you wont gain that much weight, a lot is probably glycogen or water weight.

I am speaking for myself and my friends who have tried doing deficits larger than 800, and by experience, the weight and fat did drop really fast, but the overall muscle mass AND strength suffered incredibly. As I said, I am only speaking from experience, and being at such a huge deficit, will take its toll. Well, it is different than just straight counting macros.

It's been like 3-4 weeks now that I haven't lost a pound. I lost 8 kg before this, and I'm counting calories at a huge deficit (should be losing .75kg/week) while also doing a lot of lifting, mma training, and some running. I don't know what the fuck is wrong, I fucked up a couple of times but not that much to negate 4 days, nevermind 4 whole fucking weeks of being on track. My only hope is that it's just my muscles growing even though it doesn't make sense because I should be losing weight either way at that kind of deficit. I only got like 4-5kg to go too which makes it more frustrating...

oh my god did you even read the sticky? its actually recommended to have more protein on a cut, if you have little your body will quickly use your LBM( the muscles you worked hard for!) for energy and you will be losing tons of gains. estimate your body fat and go to some kind of LBM calculator to find it.

I was actually thinking of going 5 days a week instead of 3, and alternate 3 days of lifting with 2 days of cardio.

As a bonus, my gym gives me a discount if I go at least 15 times a month, so might as well take advantage of that.

How long does it normally take for body fat percentage to go down? The gym has one of those handheld devices that calculates body fat, and mine came out at about 33%. Don't know how accurate that is, though.

I don't know about bf percentage. I guarantee you if you continue with it and up the intensity when you feel it's getting too easy you WILL lose weight, as long as you're being smart with your diet. At your size you should be able to lose 2lbs a week safely if you workout 5 days a week.

May the leafy greens, chicken breasts and treadmill incline be with you.

My diet right now has salad, carrots, turkey, peanut butter, fruit, and tons of water. My only cheat meal is on Thursdays when i get a thin crust pizza with green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I was only eating like 800kcal a day but I bumped it up to around 1200-1500 since I was eating too few.

About to do a no-calorie-count loooong cut. Going from 208lbs to 170 lbs.

The rules: set a weekly "weight needs to be this low" quota. Every week, the required weight decreases one pound. Every day, I must weigh in. If I am under the quota, I can drink and eat yummy treats. If I am above the quota, no "cheats" allowed. If I don't weigh in, no cheats.

And of course, high protein every day.

Eat enough to not feel completely destroyed when lifting. Your diet is pretty good (try to get the nice peanut butter, the normal version has something bad about it that I can't recall off the top of my head). Your cheat meal isn't unhealthy, I just recommend the easy path to enable you more self-control. I'm at a point where I can do any sort of diet after hard cutting for about 4 months
