Ah, I use ampules myself, and only on heavy all out deadlifts, and rarely for squats or bench. If you need ammonia on a regular basis for your training then you probably aren't programming right.

I wouldn't recommend that at all, if you use ammonia too often you can irritate the mucous lining in your nostrils, it will be harder for you to get hype without it, and you will end up needing just to hit working weights.

I was among the last to be conscripted in the old system, unfortunately i know nothing about it now

The pushups were a walk in the park too, but my running genetics and stride a shit. I ran 8 months before getting my 10km under 55min. Then i managed to get it under 45min before i was in. But in (pre running) conscription i got a 8 in the endurance bike without training for it. I suggest you work up your general endurance for the conscription tests and then work on your stride until you start

I managed to be the best at orienteering 10km in my platoon despite shit running genetics. Just work hard m8

you guys ever looked at your progress from last ~12-16 months?

i recently looked at mine and im not sure if i should be happy or not. lifting for 2,5 years now, only cardio before. did a brosplit for 13 months and then started to train more powerlifting style in december 2014
form was shit so i started with a deload in january 2015. got into an accident in july 2015 which injured my hip and right shoulder. recoverd quickly tho.

had a local meet 2 days ago and hit 210/150/240 @89kg (dont ask me what happened to my deadlift, got a 30kg pr that day. shit got crazy)

I actually think this is probably what makes 5/3/1 good. Instead of freaking out and trying to squeeze the most progress you can and burning yourself out, I'm just here adding twenty five lbs a month to my total every month, loving every gym session.

I'm not Bodorio (obviously) but if you're sub-100 kg you just have to get out and get in decent shape and you're golden. 1h should be a time you can get with noob-gains.

I think it's a greater risk that you burn yourself out if you rep-max or max out every session than it is on other types of programming tbd

275x2x5 squat for me. Deadlift is still climbing, 10 lbs a session, 335x5 was my most recent PR on Friday. Bench is also still climbing, did 220x3x5 on Monday, but I've done 225x3x5 before I injured myself.

I hit 245 3x5 squat yesterday and still making progress.

Still adding weight to my 190 bench and 315 dead lift every week also, so I am hoping to get near 3/2/4 for reps by September/October and then switch to a more PL focused routine and compete in my first meet by the end of the year.
