how much protein are you consuming /fit/?

I'm eating about 105g. I've noticed some gain increase, but haven't really gained weight.

I drink about 90 grams of protein a day as long as I worked out that day. The rest is from food I eat. I do not eat very much because I get full so fast. I'm also 5'9 142. I was 135 last month and have put on some quality lean mass. No fat over here. Im also 21 if that matters.

Im natty, so protein intake is almost irrelevant, i had the same gains on 50g of protein as I did on 200g of protein / day.

protein powders are also garbage of the worst quality. I wouldn't feet my dog protein powder.

Protein intake for naturals is directly related to training age and lean body mass. The rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein for 1 pound of LEAN BODY MASS.

Untrained lifters will gain the most muscle mass in their first 4 (four) years of training, this is when your protein requirement is high and supplementation may be required (whey concentrate/isolate/casein/plant).

After the first 4 (four) years training you will stop building muscle as quickly and then your protein requirements will drop since less muscle mass is being grown monthly/yearly which reduces the need for supplementation significantly (i.e. protein requirements can be met by food alone).

Linear progression is the most important thing to consider when calculating protein requirements.

At this point the amount of muscle mass I can gain WITHOUT INCREASING my BODY-FAT percentage is minimal, around 1-2lbs years, and this it with optimal diet, optimal training routine and optimal sleep.

Hence why bulking/cutting for naturals is a myth. Regardless you will only put on 'x' amount of lean body mass on a large surplus or at 500+. In all the years on this site the posters with the best physiques maintain lower body-fat year round.

Ya, lol. Thx. I have no idea how my body would respond to steroids. The amount of mass would be dependant on the compounds and dosages though, which don't have a good enough understanding to make an educated statement.

The end goal would be 193lbs @5-6%. Overtime I think I can get to 188lbs@ 7% and if I can over the next couple years, then I won't cycle.

The chances are pretty low for me to follow through and start using gear. Just a what-if fantasy...

Looking perfect to gen pop is my main goal from an aesthetics perspective, not looking perfect to the bbing community.
